Grapes for this wine come from two vineyards: Doc’s Block by the sea at Haumoana, where the vines are about 20 years old, and an organically certified block by an ancient river terrace near the Ngaruroro River, where the vines are 12 years old .
Subtle mineral, toast and peach characters on the nose, lemon curd and a precise, taut palate. Packed full of Hawke’s Bay, this Chard is one chalky, complex bad boy!
